The short version
SYLO has no accounts, no servers of ours, and no tracking. Your data lives in your own iCloud and, if you invite a partner, is shared with them — and nobody else.
What data SYLO handles
- The content you create: appreciations, weekly sync notes, tasks, important dates, wishlist items, documents you attach, and brain-dump entries.
- Household membership: the link between you and the partner you invite.
Where it lives
- On your device, and in your private iCloud (CloudKit) database, under your Apple Account. We cannot access it.
- When you invite a partner, shared records are synced between your iCloud accounts using Apple's CloudKit sharing.
On-device intelligence
Brain-dump sorting runs on your device using Apple's on-device models. Your entries are not sent to us or to third-party AI services.
What we collect
Nothing. SYLO contains no analytics SDKs, no advertising, and no trackers. Purchases (e.g. the Spicy Pack) are processed entirely by Apple; we receive no payment details.
Permissions SYLO asks for
- Camera / Photo Library — only to attach photos or documents you choose.
- Notifications — reminders and partner activity, if you enable them.
Deleting your data
Delete content in the app, or delete the app and remove SYLO data from iCloud in Settings → Apple Account → iCloud. Leaving a household removes your access to shared records.
